I fili litz profilati (sagomati meccanicamente) consentono l'utilizzo ottimale dello spazio di avvolgimento disponibile, grazie al fattore di riempimento superiore delle sezioni trasversali dei fili litz rettangolari o quadrati: rispetto a una struttura a sezione tonda standard, il filo litz profilato può aumentare il fattore di riempimento fino al 20%.

I vantaggi nella progettazione con filo litz profilato possono essere pienamente realizzati solo utilizzando prodotti con dimensioni costanti e precise, garantibili esclusivamente attraverso un controllo esatto di ogni fase del processo produttivo.

Nastrato

fili litz nastrati 

Generale

Le strutture con filo litz ad alta frequenza nastrate sono principalmente adatte per applicazioni che richiedono un'elevata tensione di isolamento. La nastratura migliora la capacità di resistere alla flessione e alle sollecitazioni meccaniche. Il filo litz con nastro adesivo può essere fornito con nastro sigillato termicamente o autoadesivo, in questo modo si garantisce la protezione contro la riapertura dei fasci durante e dopo i processi di produzione  garantendo quindi il rispetto della distanza di dispersione definita.

Alcuni nastri possono essere sigillati termicamente se utilizzati insieme a determinati tipi di smalti.

Sono possibili eccellenti caratteristiche di adesione e cementazione tra i singoli fili. È possibile selezionare un'ampia gamma di nastri termosaldabili per applicazioni speciali che offrono vari gradi di flessibilità e protezione meccanica per la costruzione del filo litz.

Gradi di sovrapposizione 

Il grado di sovrapposizione di due avvolgimenti di nastro adiacenti è definito dall'angolo del gradiente tra il nastro e il filo litz durante il processo di nastratura. La sovrapposizione determina il numero di strati di nastro uno sull'altro e quindi lo spessore dell'isolamento.

Il filo Litz fatto di fili magnetici smaltati viene utilizzato per applicazioni ad alta frequenza o relative al riscaldamento. I fili ultra sottili forniscono soluzioni per entrambe le tecnologie indipendentemente dalla gamma di frequenza o impedenza. I rivestimenti estrusi applicati ai fili litz ad alta frequenza offrono una maggiore flessibilità, robustezza meccanica, resistenza alle sostanze chimiche e isolamento elettrico. La resistenza alla flessione del filo litz estruso è notevolmente superiore rispetto alle costruzioni standard.
